Asuravithu movie review

In the 1960s, A Vincent made a memorable Malayalam film called Asuravithu based on the Jnanpith award winner M T Vasudevan Nair\'s novel of the same name. The film had Prem Nazir and Sarada in the main roles. In 2011, another film titled Asuravithu is being made in Malayalam but it has no connection with the original Asuravithu. Young hero Asif Ali, who is riding high after the success of Salt N\' Pepper and Traffic, is paired opposite Samvritha Sunil in writer-director A K Sajan\'s Asuravithu. Asif plays a character called Don Bosco. He is a soft- spoken youth, living in a seminary and all set to become a priest. Samvritha Sunil is Marty, a bold chatterbox who runs a boat service. She is also an expert in drawing sketches of suspects from the accounts of eyewitnesses, for the cops.
